Anyone know of a shortcut to open a folder in a new window. There is a right click option to do it, but I can't find a keyboard shortcut. The only one I can find is to "open a new window" which is NOT the same as opening a folder in a new window.
Reply #3 SHurley Jan 6, 2016 at 07:49 am
Tx for the Shift 10 e response. I find it very helpful. I forget where I was looking and now don't have to worry about getting that file path back.

ohhhhhhh! its very(100x)Not all the shortcuts listed under the Win 7 section appear to work on my business laptop running Win 7. I am wondering if it is possible for local IT to actually turn off some of these shortcuts presumably so they don't have to support users who accidentally use these keys and then don't understand what they have done. For example WIN + D does nothing on my machine. Why anyone would want to disable it is beyond me.
