thanks for this one .. i just moved from MacOs to Fedora Linux and gedit is a find text editor.. i use find a lot.. and the i did not know how to get rid of the highlighting after a search so i used to ctrl+f and remove the search if and when i wanted to get rid of it.. but Ctrl+Shift+K is way better / faster.. thanks again.. i was looking at other shortcuts and decided to check out other nice tips here.. good work..
